# Dave Cairns

> Thinker, builder and dreamer. "I've never been particularly good at accepting the world as it is."

Dave Cairns questions the systems we've inherited (how we work, govern, collaborate, build communities and share knowledge) and builds alternatives. He is drawn to big ideas, difficult problems, and people with the courage to question the rules rather than simply follow them.

## What he is building

- **Connexora**: exploring how artificial intelligence, technology and human ingenuity can work together to make extraordinary things possible. https://connexora.com/
- **The Blank Slate Foundation**: challenging how we design cities, economies, institutions and, ultimately, society itself.
- Both are rooted in a simple belief: the future doesn't have to look like the past.
